Acute Care Surgeon

Acute care surgical group at Ascension St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL in search of a new associate, with interest in trauma and general surgery. We staff a suburban level one trauma center and are looking for a well trained surgeon to join us. Case mix includes elective bread and butter general surgery along with acute surgical care and trauma.

Current services provided include a broad range of open, robotic and laparoscopic general surgery, endoscopy, and trauma. 24/7 resident coverage with benefits of an academic environment supported by UIC and the opportunity for research if desired. Home call is currently 1/3. Trauma coverage is during the daytime with the opportunity to take additionally compensated night/weekend shifts. Current physicians have fellowship training in MIS, hepatobiliary, and critical care.
