Become A Member of EAST!
We look forward to receiving your membership application
online. EAST is an organization dedicated to the nurturing of the young
trauma surgeon and, as such, solicits applications from junior surgeons with
an interest and training in trauma, mature surgeons who might serve as their
mentors and ancillary care providers who support this endeavor. EAST is also
interested in other health care professionals interested in furthering
trauma care, including nurses and paramedics.
Some of the important missions of the organization include
the sponsorship of a national meeting with original scientific presentations
in January, the creation and archiving of practice management guidelines and
the development of young surgeons as national leaders in trauma by
participation in key committees in EAST.

Fellowship. Fellowship cannot be completed prior to June 30th

Applying for membership in EAST is easy!
We need the following items in order to process your application using our
online system:

Express ($50, nonrefundable)

Personal statement
(waived for trauma fellows)

Three endorsements.
One endorsement must be from a current EAST Active or Senior
member, or if applying for Associate membership, one endorsement must be
from an EAST Active, Senior or Associate member.
Trauma fellows need only provide a recommendation
from their fellowship director.
All EAST members are listed in the online application form.
If you need assistance finding a member to endorse you, please

To join our organization, follow the easy steps outlined below. Once you
initiate the process, you can check back here and follow the status of your
application. Applications not
completed in a two year period will be deleted.
