Acute Surgery / Trauma / Critical Care Surgeon 

Albany Medical Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible trauma/general surgeon to join its Acute Surgery, Trauma / Critical Care service. Completion of an accredited general surgery residency is required, fellowship training preferred.

The position includes trauma, ICU, and general surgery practice. Responsibilities also include education of medical students and residents. Opportunity for research exists.

Albany Medical Center is a 630-bed tertiary care hospital and the only level I trauma center in Northeastern New York State. Trauma admissions number 1,300 annually, approximately 90% blunt and 10% penetrating.
