Volunteer at the EAST Community Outreach Event!

Tuesday, November 1, 2022

Trauma is the number one cause of death in young people.

In an effort to address this public health crisis, EAST began hosting an annual Community Outreach Program in 2012. Held during the Annual Scientific Assembly, the program is coordinated by the EAST Injury Control and Violence Prevention Committee whose volunteers travel into the local community to deliver high-quality, high-profile injury prevention programs around topics such as distracted and impaired driving, vehicle safety, teen violence, and substance abuse.

EAST is returning to William R. Boone High School in Orlando, Florida for the 2023 Community Outreach Program, which will be held at the EAST Annual Scientific Assembly on January 17, 2023! If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the online form linked in the button below. All volunteers must be pre-registered and complete the online form.
