Join TCAA in Washington, D.C. for the Trauma Advocacy Institute & Lobby Day on March 19-20, 2024. 

Please join the TCAA staff, board of directors, and a team of lobbyists from Alston & Bird as we descend on Capitol Hill for our annual Lobby Day. We invite you to support our continued efforts to raise awareness and gain recognition and support for trauma and related concerns at the federal level. 

On Tuesday, March 19th, beginning at 3:00pm ET, TCAA will host the Trauma Advocacy Institute at Alston & Bird’s Washington, D.C. office. Our team from Alston & Bird will share TCAA’s legislative priorities, talking points, and updates on the 118th Congress. Additionally, Earl Pomeroy, former nine term U.S. Representative for North Dakota’s at-large district, will provide guidance on communicating with members on the Hill. 

On Wednesday, March 20th, participants will meet with Congressional offices to encourage continued support of trauma related issues and funding. TCAA hospital members, please consider attending as a team by including a trauma survivor from your state. Scholarships may be available to assist with hotel & travel for survivors.
