Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery at Grady, is currently accepting applications for its 2021-2022 Acute Care Surgery (ACS) Fellowship. This is a 1-year program fully accredited by the AAST at a premier academic trauma center in the heart of Atlanta. This fellowship will provide a robust clinical experience in trauma and emergency general surgery. At this time, the fellow will work closely with ACS faculty, additional ACS fellows, APPs, and surgical residents from both Emory and Morehouse Schools of Medicine. The ACS service performs a broad spectrum of surgical procedures including trauma, emergency general surgery, and outpatient elective general surgery. Focused clinical experiences during the academic year will also include elective rotations in PM&R, vascular, orthopedics, and thoracic surgery. Opportunities in ACS research are available and encouraged. The ideal candidate for this fellowship desires a career in trauma and emergency general surgery.
