The Department of Surgery of the Medical College of Wisconsin offers a fellowship position in Surgical Critical Care. The program will qualify surgeons in the care of basic problems of critically ill patients, in the administration of critical care units and in the conduct of independent research focusing on the application of clinical critical care. The program is offered as a one or two-year fellowship primarily to surgeons entering academic careers in general surgery or surgical subspecialities. A second year as a clinical trauma fellow is also available.
