Trauma Program Manager

Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking a Trauma Program Manager to join Penn Highlands DuBois, pursuing Level II PTSF trauma center accreditation as part of $111 Million expansion.

The Trauma Program Manager, in consultation and collaboration with the Trauma Director, evaluates, plans, organizes, coordinates and manages the implementation of the non-physician activities of the Trauma Program in keeping with the requirements of the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation (PTSF), the Hospital's Strategic Plan and Mission Statement.

•High-level care for five-hospital referral network
•Penn Highlands DuBois is a 172 inpatient bed acute care hospital with two ICUs, NICU, the Hahne Regional Cancer Center, The Heart Center, and The Lung Center

Trauma Program Manager Criteria
•Current Registered Nurse License or Temporary Practice Permit
•Masters Degree (preferred)
•Bachelor Degree in any directly related field, including but not limited to, nursing or health care management
•Experience working with trauma system (required)
•Supervisory or management experience (required)
•Knowledge of clinical skills in all phases of trauma care (required)
•Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills
•Knowledge of Trauma Center Systems as identified by the PTSF, to include Trauma Registry methods and Trauma Clinical Quality (Preferred)
