Assistant/ Associate Professor

The Medical College of Wisconsin-Froedtert Trauma Center, Division of Trauma/Acute Care Surgery has an opening for a dynamic junior or mid-level academic surgeon with a strong interest in research. The candidate must be board certified or board eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. This position is being recruited at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

MCW/Froedtert Hospital is the sole Level I trauma center in Milwaukee which also serves all of eastern Wisconsin. The trauma service admits over 3400 traumas per year with 20% penetrating trauma. In addition to a busy trauma service the team handles all the Emergency General Surgery and exclusively staffs the Surgical ICU. MCW is a private, freestanding medical school that is widely respected as an academic center of excellence for the education and training of physicians and scientists, development of graduate and undergraduate medical education programs, basic and translational research, and distinction in multidisciplinary clinical programs.
