CoxHealth Department of Surgery/Division of Acute Care Surgery and Trauma, recruiting for positive self- motivated partner to join growing practice in Southwest Missouri. (Springfield) . This is a State Level 1 trauma center designated by both the state of Missouri and Arkansas. Service to one location within a five hospital system providing care to our adult and pediatric patient population in a 27 bed Neuro Trauma ICU, 22 OR's including a hybrid suite, and 3 designated trauma bays. Schedule is unique and allows for 11 days off every 5 weeks, limited weekends, and night call with APP support. Competitive salary, with achievable bonus component, 401 K with a generous match, $5,000 a year for CME as well as TQIP research support and participation in multicenter trials. Opportunities for clinical professorship through University of Missouri with limited resident/medical student teaching and research. Collegial group of surgeons looking for someone who fits in well with practice which has limited turnover and is founded on evidence-based practice and a team mindset with a focus on quality of life. Mentoring support from senior surgeons, access to IR and surgeon led ERCP , and surgeon APP pairing creates a great practice environment.
