Trauma Acute Care Surgeon Opportunity - Phoenix, AZ

Envision Physician Services is seeking Trauma and Acute Care Surgeons to join our team at Abrazo West Campus, a state level 1 / ACS level 2 Trauma Center. New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.

Trauma Surgeon Criteria:

- Board Certified General Surgery with Trauma experience preferred
- ATLS Required
- Willingness to work at on-site clinic for post-op follow up visits
- Presently possess or able to obtain an Arizona medical license

Trauma Program Details:

- 200-bed facility
- Level I Trauma Center (State), Level II (ACS)
- 12 hr primary in-house coverage
- ED Volume: 55k; 33 beds
- Average Trauma Admits 800 (Penetrating: 13%, Blunt: 85%)
- Average Trauma Team Activations/ yr: 1,004
- 14 days of EGS call per month
- Inpatient census: 20/day
- 20 ICU beds, additional 10 medical ICU beds
- 8 OR’s (2 designated for trauma)
