General Surgeon Opportunity in Northern Indiana

Beacon Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC acute care/trauma surgeon with an elective general surgery practice if desired. Critical care fellowship and/or a passion for trauma will be the ideal candidate. The practice setting is at Memorial Hospital, the only regional American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma verified level II trauma center located in South Bend, Indiana. Memorial is a heavy Level II Trama center. High quality trauma care is given through a collaborative working relationship with the emergency medicine, intensivist, and hospitalist teams. This opportunity offers the ability to establish your own critical care/trauma practice with dedicated OR time while sharing trauma responsibilities with other colleagues. Trauma call is approximately 6-7 shifts per month affording a great work life balance.
