The Department of Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center invites applications for the full-time position as Assistant/Associate Professor, Trauma Critical Care. Candidates should be board-eligible or board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.

Job Description:
The University of Toledo Medical Center recently became a provisional level 2 trauma center. You would be joining a team of 5 surgeons taking trauma/EGS calls and 3 intensivists rounding in the SICU. In addition, there are 9 APPs and residents rounding on the service. Clinical responsibilities would include SICU rounds, trauma/EGS calls, back up call and opportunity for elective surgery.

Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care and must possess leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional clinical ability.
