The New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) will offer an intensive 2-day workshop experience in the use of the GRADE system for clinical guideline development.  The workshop is a concentrated version of previous NYAM workshops. It is ideal for members of organizations that are developing clinical guidelines as well as consultants, methodologists and epidemiologists connected to such efforts.   Full information on the GRADE workshop, including access to registration, will soon be available at www.ebmny.org.

2018 GRADE Faculty:

The NYAM GRADE workshop will be led by Dr. Eddy Lang MD with the assistance of Dr. John J Riva DC MSc. Dr. Lang is the Academic and Clinical Department Head for Emergency Medicine at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, Alberta,  CA.  He is an experienced member of the GRADE Working Group and has taught the GRADE system to health professionals throughout the Western Hemisphere.  Dr. Riva is Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University, Ontario, Canada.  He is a member of the GRADE working group and an associate member of Cochrane Canada.  He has contributed to clinical guideline groups using GRADE for the World Health Organization (WHO), World Allergy Organization (WAO), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health, American Society of Hematology (ASH).

Registration fee:  $1100.   Register by April 15 and pay only $1000!
