Our fellowship is a one year clinical program with nine months of surgical critical care and three months of operative experience that can be tailored to the Fellow's career interests. This can include trauma, acute general surgery cardiothoracic, vascular, burn, ultrasound and echocardiography. The Program provides an option for an advanced degree ( e.g., MBA, MPH) with no financial obligation to the Fellow.

Qualifications: •Prospective fellows are required to have completed an ACGME accredited residency program in General Surgery. In addition, applicants must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Surgery.
•Three letters of recommendation
•American Board of Surgery In-training exam scores
•Completed Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Application
•ECFMG Certificate (for foreign medical graduates)
Applications will only be accepted via the Surgical critical care and Acute care surgery Fellowship Application Services (SAFAS).
Research in basic science, trauma systems and outcomes is an integral part of the program requirements.
