We will begin accepting applications for the 2019-2020 academic year on April 1, 2018.

One year ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care Fellowship, with strong emphasis on Trauma, and Acute Critical Care Surgery beginning August 1, 2019. Clinically oriented position in an Academic, University-Based Level I Trauma Center with over 3,200 trauma admissions (90% blunt, 10% penetrating), 2,000 critical care admissions, and 1,100 acute care surgery admission per year. Ample opportunity for clinical, epidemiology, outcomes, prevention and laboratory research. Non-accredited second year also available for clinical/basic science research, possibility of a masters in clinical science (research) or masters in public health.

Qualifications: 1) Completion of approved general surgery residency
2) California license (or eligibility) and Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Surgery
3) Established ability as a teacher of medical students and residents.
