2025 Medical Students' Day at the EAST Annual Scientific Assembly
Thank you for your interest in participating in the upcoming Medical Students' Day at the 38th EAST Annual Scientific Assembly! We hope that this will be a great opportunity for you to network with EAST members and learn more about the field of trauma surgery.
2025 EAST Medical Students' Day

Thursday's program will begin at 12:15 p.m. when students will be paired with EAST members during the lunch hour. This will be an opportunity for students to network and discuss their interests and career goals in an informal setting. After lunch, EAST members will accompany students to scientific sessions and facilitate introductions. The day's program will culminate with the “No Suit, No Problem: Fostering Relationships & Building Careers” networking session from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., where students will meet with other EAST members to discuss career pathways, research development, and skill sets. Plan to meet at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 16th to get acquainted with your EAST Guide. (The room location will be announced closer to the date). Following lunch, your guide will be available to accompany you to scientific sessions, answer questions, and facilitate introductions until 6:00 p.m.
Please RSVP by Friday, December 20th so that we can match you with an EAST Guide for the day's program. Please also let us know in 1-2 sentences what you hope to gain from this experience.
We will be in touch in early January to pair you with your EAST Guide and share additional information. We will also send you an email reminder the day before the program begins.
IMPORTANT: in order to participate in Medical Students' Day, you must be a registered attendee of the 38th EAST Annual Scientific Assembly. Registration is complimentary for medical students through January 13, 2025 and $100 onsite.
