Equity, Quality, and Inclusion - Assessment and Research Work Group

Overall purpose & pragmatic goal: i) Define the landscape and problem of inequity in trauma surgery for surgeons among the EAST membership. Identify what has worked well to rectify this for us and for others and describe what the ideal professional, equity-based atmosphere would look like for members. ii) Design and complete a survey of EAST members defining the above – problems, challenges, potential solutions and ideal equity-based visions.
