TRAUMA SURGEON - Monterey County

Natividad is seeking a Fellowship-Trained Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Surgeon to join the only Level II Trauma Center in Monterey County. Applicants must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.

The ideal candidate will be a fellowship-trained, Trauma/Critical Care Surgeon, within 5 years out of fellowship, and interested in working for a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of California-San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine.

The Trauma/Surgical program currently consists of 7 fellowship-trained Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Surgeons, and 24/7 Acute Care Nurse Practitioners to assist our surgeons with rounding. The Trauma Surgeon reports directly to the Trauma Program Director and will be responsible for providing trauma, surgical critical care and acute care surgery coverage.

Natividad is a premier, 172-bed, acute care teaching hospital owned and operated by Monterey County. Affiliated with the University of California-San Francisco School of Medicine since 1974, we are located near Big Sur, Carmel and Monterey.
