Trauma and Critical Care Attending

Weill Cornell Medical College is seeking Acute Care surgeons to join the full-time faculty in the Division of Trauma, Burns, Acute and Critical Care within the Department of Surgery, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. New faculty will participate in the full spectrum of Acute Care surgery, and must be board certified in General Surgery with added qualification in Surgical Critical Care, or have fellowship training and be preparing for the Surgical Critical Care examination. Applicants must have a strong interest in research and education. Interest and experience in burn care is preferred.
The New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center is committed to the expansion and strengthening of the trauma center and the emergency surgical program. The successful candidate with have the opportunity to actively participate in the growth and development of the program at an institution with a rich historical legacy, as we continue to grow and expand our role as the leading academic medical center in New York City and an essential resource for emergency and surgical ICU care in the city and the region. Surgeons with interest and experience will also have the opportunity to work in the nationally acclaimed William Randolph Hearst Burn Center.
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and credentials.
