Trauma Surgeon

The Program in Trauma at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is currently seeking a candidate for a full-time position as an attending physician/surgeon for the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Responsibilities include critical care and surgical patient care, resident/student education and clinical research. Requirements include board certification/eligibility by the American Board of Surgery with added qualification in Surgical Critical Care; fellowship training in trauma/surgical critical care; related work experience; and demonstrated commitment toward basic science and/or clinical research. Applicants with surgical critical care experience will be most competitive.

The position includes an academic appointment with the University Of Maryland School of Medicine; rank will be commensurate with experience and training. Compensation is competitive and full-time positions include an extensive benefit plan. Position is available immediately.
