Acute Care Surgeon
UHCMC is seeking an Acute Care Surgeon to join our growing division. UHCMC is an American College of Surgeons verified Level I Trauma Center admitting about 2,000 trauma patients annually. The Division also runs a 24/7 Acute Care Surgery service and a Trauma/Surgical Intensive Care Unit in our 1032-bed academic medical center.
Our surgeons hold academic appointments at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and are expected to participate as faculty for both medical students and residents from multiple departments which rotate on our three services.
All experience levels will be considered for both entry- and leadership-level positions. Salary and academic rank will be based upon applicant credentials. Requirements include ABMS-BC/BE in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
The surgeon who joins our team must be prepared for a very busy practice in an urban environment with high acuity and high rates of penetrating trauma.
