Crozer Keystone Health Network (CKHN) has a challenging and rewarding full-time opportunity at a 370 bed tertiary care community teaching hospital, for a Trauma Surgeon to join a group of six Surgical Critical Care boarded Acute Care Surgeons. This is an employed position with the CKHN. Duties include in-house trauma call, elective and acute care general surgery, and the management of the trauma patients on the ward and ICU.
The Crozer Chester Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center that has recently established a freestanding general residency program. The Trauma Center receives approximately 2700 trauma and burn cases per year. The Regional Burn Center is separately covered by independent burn surgeons.
• Certified by the American Board of Surgery.
• Surgical critical care trained. Those without critical care training need at least 2 years of full time trauma experience.
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Strong commitment to education for residents and medical students.
