Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Physician

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery has an immediate opening for an academic focused surgeon. This position is being recruited at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Position Requirements/Details
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
• Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin
• Interest in pursuing a career in academics
• Appropriate clinical research experience

The Division’s clinical practice spans a number of locations with the primary hospital being Froedtert Hospital. The Trauma service admits over 3,000 traumas per year with 20% penetrating trauma and our team also handles all Emergency General Surgery. We have a cutting edge surgical critical care program and AAST approved Acute Care Surgery fellowship with a current group of 14 Trauma/Acute Care Surgeons.
