Attending the ACS Executive Leadership course provided me with a skill set that was unique and I had not previously been exposed to. Understanding the key legislative, financial and business-related issues that shape our healthcare system is key to helping understand how we can create systems that will better serve patients.
This course sparked my interest in learning more about hospital systems and how we can create systems that can serve their mission through efficiency and creating working margins to fund the programs that are vital to patient care. This was truly a career changing course that introduced me to the skill sets that I will need as I look to a future in healthcare leadership
