Have you heard the news EAST.org received a bit of a makeover. While we didnt need to overhaul the site we did take steps to improve the functionality content and richness of our site. The goal was to create a better online experience for members. We wanted synergy across the site and ensure it functions to meet your needs. We partnered with .orgSource to ensure we were methodical in our approach. The project went in phases After garnering member feedback a strategy was put in place and the design and implementation phase commenced. The header zone which appears on all pages and in- cludes the search box as well as member sign in and links to events jobs shop contact and join. 3. The middle zone with the dynamic feeds for news and events plus the Presidents Message. 4. The footer which appears on all pages and has social media links as well as basic contact information. In addition to the submenu on the right of the landing page important content is highlighted on the page itself such as the Annual Scientific Assembly and the Traumacasts. Traumacasts are a submenu item under On- line Education and that Online Education would have its own next level landing page. Each layer of the sections and pag- es of the site were thoughtfully arranged. Each menu was designed to be specific and obvious with submenus guiding your way to more content.
