5www.east.org The EAST Mentoring Program for members of EAST and under the direction of the EAST Mentoring Section is in full swing and now entering its fourth year The goal of the Mentoring Program is promotion of academic and personal growth of the young trauma and acute care surgeon by providing extramural mentorship over a 1-year period. We encourage you to take a moment to recognize our dedicated Mentors and Mentees from the inception of the EAST Mentoring Program by visiting the EAST Mentoring Program sec- tion of the website. While our call for Mentee applications for the 2015-2016 EAST Mentoring Program is now closed we are planning towards our 2016-2017 EAST Mentoring Program which will be gearing up shortly after the 29th EAST Annual Scientific Assembly January 12-16 2016 in San Anto- nio Texas.
