Click here to apply online. JOHN P. PRYOR MD DISTIN- GUISHED SERVICE AWARD Deadline October 31 2015 Nominations for the 2016 Award are now being accepted. The John P. Pryor MD Distinguished Service Award in Military Ca- sualty Care is an annual award presented at the EAST Annual Scientific Assembly. The award recognizes EAST members who have distinguished themselves in the field of military casual- ty care. All members of EAST civilian and military are eligible for this award. EAST members who either through a singular advancement or a body of work in the field of military casualty care and who have demonstrat- ed a commitment to improving outcomes for those who sustain injury in modern military theaters of conflict will be considered for this award. November 1 Deadline Call for Multicenter Trial Proposals for Sponsoring by EAST The Multicenter Trials Section of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma EAST is sponsoring a Plenary Session EAST Multicenter Study Recruitment Proposals on Thursday January 14 2016 145 pm - 315 pm at the 29th EAST Annual Scientific Assem- bly in San Antonio Texas. The Plenary Session will provide a forum for individuals interested in presenting their ideas for multicenter tri- als and recruiting partnering centers. Participants will have five to 10 minutes to present their research question and design and encour- age audience members to sign up for more information or participate as a separate site in the Trial. There are currently 12 MCTs that are sponsored by EAST and details about their research questions par- ticipating sites and current status can be found at httpwww.east.orgresearchmulticenter-trials. The 2016 ses- sion will also feature a select group of the current sponsored MCTs to present their progress to date. If you or a colleague has an idea for a MCT study that would benefit from exposure and assistance by EAST view the materials for pro- posal submission on the EAST website. The only current requirement is submission of an EAST Multicenter Study Proposal. Direct all proposals to rdixoneast.org by the deadline of Novem- ber 1 2015.
