www.east.org 9 Member Code of Conduct Policy Meetings Code of Conduct Membership Agreement Dues and Standing Policy Membership in the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma EAST is valued by more than 1800 multidisciplinary professionals responsible for the care of the injured patient. As a large organization with a reputation for providing a collegial safe and nonthreatening environment which fosters camaraderie and the exchange of ideas it is important that EAST have standard policies pertaining to mem- bership and the conduct of its members at EAST sponsored events. To maintain the networking mentoring and leadership development atmosphere EAST is so well known for providing the EAST Board of Directors has endorsed the following agreement and policies. The agreement and policy listed below formally outline expectations regarding the payment of dues and maintenance of good standing within the organization. In addition EAST has formalized a Code of Conduct for all who participate in EAST sponsored meetings and events. The Membership Agreement Outlines what is required to hold membership in EAST. The Dues and Standing Policy Outlines the requirements for paying your membership dues and retaining good standing within EAST. To maintain membership dues must be paid by June 30th each year. Code of Conduct Policy Outlines the expected behavior of those attending the EAST Scientific Assembly as well as for other meetings or events sponsored by EAST.
