The Johns Hopkins Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Fellowship offers a unique and immersive experience for talented surgeons to train at one of the nation’s premier trauma centers. This fellowship is either a one-year fellowship and can be completed as a “stand-alone” year, or in the two-year sequence with our accredited multidisciplinary Surgical Critical Care Fellowship.
Our fellows function in the role of a junior faculty member with full admitting and operative privileges at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Fellowship prerequisites include: completion of an approved general surgery residency; American Board of Surgery eligible or certified; and the ability to obtain a State of Maryland Medical License.
