EAST stands by its mission to advance science, foster relationships, and build careers. From attending the annual meeting, serving on committees, and participating in PMGs, I've had the chance to be a part of that mission since I was a resident. It's because of programs like the Hackathon that I support the EAST Development Fund. It's an amazing program for an early-stage investigator and introduced me to great mentors for my research. EAST supports surgeon-scientists early in their career, offering a pathway to jumpstart their research. Supporting EAST supports the next generation of Acute Care Surgeons.
