EAST FACEBOOK GROUPS TERMS OF USE
These EAST Facebook Groups Terms of Use (“Terms”) are between you and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (“EAST,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). EAST is a Tennessee nonprofit corporation headquartered and licensed to do business in Illinois and exempt from federal income tax pursuant to Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Among other things, EAST is organized to furnish leadership and to foster advances in the surgery of trauma and to afford a forum for the exchange of knowledge pertaining to injury control, research, practice, and training in prevention, care, and rehabilitation of injury.

In furtherance of our purpose, EAST hosts a Facebook group, the EAST Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Collaboration Group, for our members, and may from time to time, host other Facebook groups dedicated to subjects in the field of trauma surgery (each an “EAST Group”). These Terms, together with any documents these Terms expressly incorporate by reference, govern your access to and use of the EAST Groups.

By submitting your request to join the EAST Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Collaboration Group, you are accepting these Terms.

By executing these Terms, you agree to the following:

  • Your posts must be non-commercial, educational in nature, and related to the applicable EAST Group’s topic.
  • Your posts must not be defamatory, offensive, threatening, or include illegal materials.

  • You may not intentionally or unintentionally violate or encourage or assist anyone else to violate any local, state, or federal ordinance, statute, law, or regulation.
