Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon
The Medical College of Wisconsin is expanding our Division of Trauma, and Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery. We have an immediate opening for a surgeon who has a clinical and academic focus in Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care. This position is being recruited at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Position Requirements/Details
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
• Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin
• Interest in pursuing a career in academics
• Appropriate clinical research experience
The Division’s clinical practice spans several locations with the primary hospital being Froedtert Hospital. The Trauma service admits over 3,000 traumas per year with 20% penetrating trauma and our team also handles all Emergency General Surgery. We have a cutting edge surgical critical care program and fellowship.
