Donor Story

Since I joined in 2013, EAST has done more to advance my career than any other organization. Straight out of training, I was brought into my current institution to start an academic trauma program. Outside my mentors from my training institution, I did not know anyone in academic medicine in trauma or acute care surgery. Through EAST's Multicenter Trials, I was able to join in important academic research right away and later supported developing and implementing our own multicenter trials.

My contributions to EAST are not only a thank you for all the support the organization has given me in my career but also my commitment to supporting other young surgeons build their careers as well.
