The EAST Leadership Development Workshop Scholarship allowed me to participate in an amazing 3-year workshop that helped give me the tools to ascend into leadership roles at my home institution and within EAST. I also got the opportunity to learn from and network with prominent trauma surgeons from throughout the country who I have now collaborated with on multiple research and quality improvement projects since starting the workshop series.
