This program offers an extensive clinical experience in dealing with the trauma population (blunt and penetrating) as well as other general surgical emergency cases. The Surgical ICU rotation is part of the fellowship as well as exposure to surgical nutrition. The trauma fellowship does not have official certification, however, we also have a surgical critical care fellowship for one year, which is approved and certified by the RRC. Dr. Mary-Margaret Brandt is the Director of the surgical critical care fellowship.
