Statement of Need:
People aged >65 yo are a rapidly growing proportion of the world’s population. Hip fractures are a common injury in this age group and remain a major source of morbidity, mortality, and substantial financial burden. The number of hip fractures worldwide is projected to nearly double by 2050, compared to 2018. With increasing incidence, guidelines to help direct management are needed.
