EAST/AAST/AAST-AMC: SCC Review Series - Hematology II - #7- 04/28/2025
Join Dr. Alex Brito with the Expert Guest Dr. Martin Schreiber, and Fellow Guests Dr. Donald Furman and Dr. Rebecca Phuoc. This is the seventh episode of the Surgical Critical Care Review Series. This is a unique collaborative initiative between EAST, AAST, and AAST-AMC. During this episode we will be discussing the management of venous thromboembolism, the pathophysiology and management of trauma induced coagulopathy, von Willebrand disease, and sickle cell disease as well as the use of plasmapheresis in the surgical ICU.
